I’m Alexus, a Colorado-based destination wedding photographer drawn to honest connection, beautiful details, and all the little moments in between.

On a wedding day, I’m always paying attention—to beautiful light, the people you love, the way a room feels, and the moments happening when no one thinks they’re being photographed. I want you to have the beautiful portraits you’ve imagined, without your wedding day ever feeling like one long photoshoot.

My approach is calm and easy. I’ll step in when you need me, whether that means finding the best light, fixing a background, or giving you direction that actually feels natural. And when you don’t need me? I’m happy to step back and let things happen. There’s room for both.

Outside of weddings, my days are usually spent exploring Colorado with my family, homeschooling, finding a new coffee shop, or pulling inspiration from film, interiors, and beautifully designed spaces.

I love working with couples who care about beautiful photographs, but care even more about being present for the people and moments that make their wedding theirs. You don’t have to choose between photographs that look incredible and photographs that actually feel like your day.
